1. Introduction to data mining – applicability, processing steps, main concepts and techniques. Spatial data mining. Image data mining. Remote sensing data minig.
2. Regression Techiques and GIS: multiply regression, logistic regression, geographically weighted regression.
3. Dempster-Shafer Theory of Evidence – applications in spatial analysis and image classification.
4. Image classification by decision tree induction.
5. Regression trees and remote sensing
6. Neural classifiers.
7. Individual student project.
