Remote Sensing & GIS Students at SPACE Conference 2025!

We are proud to announce that students from the Remote Sensing & GIS, actively participated in the prestigious SPACE Conference 2025 (May 21–23, 2025).

During the event, Zuzanna Micek, Wiktoria Buczkowska, Mikołaj Mizera, and Tymoteusz Maj presented the results of their research conducted within the framework of the IDUB Program – Action 12: Integration of Education and Scientific Research – Research-Based Education Pathway. This initiative supports the most talented students by enabling them to combine their academic studies with active engagement in scientific research at an early stage of their academic careers.

Under the supervision of Dr. Eng. Ewa Głowienka, the students are carrying out advanced research projects in the field of remote sensing and geographic information systems, focusing on applications in interdisciplinary environmental analyses, spatial phenomenon modeling, and long-term monitoring of anthropogenic and natural processes on both regional and global scales.

The results presented at the conference reflect the intensive scientific work and growing potential of young researchers, who actively contribute to the advancement of modern geoinformation technologies and Earth observation.

We sincerely congratulate our students on their commitment, perseverance, and academic excellence. We are proud to see them represent our academic community on an international stage!
